This very high density of fins obtained by this Skived process considerably increases the air exchange surfaces and makes it possible to increase the thermal performance of a conventional heat sink for the same given overall volume. The layers being naturally integral with the block, there is no thermal resistance at the junction points. This contributes to optimizing the thermal performance of the obtained heatsink.
For dissipators requiring a width greater than 200mm, we propose an assembly of several blocks by brazing, thus ensuring a perfect heat exchange. A heat pipe can also be integrated into the heat sink. It will be sized by us using our thermal simulation tools.
